Hiya, I'm Sarah! (also known as berry.cosplay) I'm excited to see a site like this up and running for the love live community! :D This is gonna be a bit of a long journey, make sure you have a snack or something while reading this one.

back in 2015ish, a year after I got into cosplay, I started seeing these cute idol girl cosplays and always wanted to know what anime they were from. (I came in from wanting to cosplay vocaloids, especially the fake vocaloid/utau, Teto Kasane.) I found out it was called Love Live and I found idol groups in my area that I really loved and looked up to in my teen years of cosplay. Funnily enough I started to get into Love Live in 2016 where I heard people talk about how much they hate Love Live and how it sucks, I took that upon myself to actually get into it and it turns out its that very anime that captured my interest for years. And then after watching SIP I downloaded the game. Thank you random people at a con for talking bad about Love Live, your hate for it transpired into my love for it. <3 (I think I jumped in around the Aqours hype so in a way perfect timing)

I've always wanted to be a part of a Love Live cosplay group after I started getting into it. The problem I came across was that there was excitement at the start of some groups being formed, but it turned into ideas that never fully went through. I also use to really feel left out of the cosplay community because I wasn't close with cosplayers, that made me want to leave the community because I was extra shy and didn't know people well enough to cosplay with them. I didn't go to many cons in the past because I was focusing on school.

Fast forward to 2017 and one of my cosplay friends put up a post asking who would like to be part of a Love Live idol group. I took that opportunity to ask if I could cosplay two of my favourite characters for this new group at the time, Kotori and Ruby. And well, I cosplay them nowadays in this very group called @pastelpoplive <3

Pastelpop was one of the first groups i've been in where people were motivated to learn dances, meet up with each other, hang out, and have fun photoshoots together. I came out of my shell a little more, got confidence to meet many new cosplayers and photographers, and actually call them my friends. I also got my first Love Live cosplays for this group! I'm so happy to finally be able to cosplay Love Live with a group of people I really enjoy and love being around! And now its a little bit of a starstruck moment because other cosplayers and idol fans really enjoy people like me and my group and how they want to find people to make their own idol groups. I say go start your own idol groups, you don't have to start with the full 9. With Pastelpop's debut in 2018 we didn't have a full 9 members for our first dance and we still rocked it!

Wheew that was a long one, but I guess to sum up my story, I loved the cute 2d idols enough that I wanted to cosplay them, and then I finally joined a group that helped me come out of my shell and shine.

I first found out about Love Live after finding the First season online in 2017. I started to watch it and fell in love with Kotori and her personality, along with the franchise. I then found Love Live Sunshine after seeing the opening intro on YouTube which introduced me to Kanan. Since then, I have cosplayed quite a few versions of Kanan and adding more Kotori cosplays to my list next year.

I have 15 Kanan nesoberi’s currently and 6 Kotori nesoberi’s with both shrines growing. AVCON 2019, I entered idolized Easter Kanan into the cosplay Competition and won Best Female Character which makes me love Kanan Matsuura even more as I managed while cosplaying her to reach a goal I had since 2017.

I love when I get a card of my best girls especially when it’s a card that I have been trying to get for ages. I pretty much squealed when I got Easter Kanan and was able to idolized her as that card now means so much to me. I definitely plan to enter a Kotori cosplay into a competition in the future and see what that brings me.

Happy belated Halloween.

NC had some severe weather but that didn't stop us from getting into the Halloween spirit. I had to work but still dressed up. For quite a while (May to be exact) I knew I wanted to go as Billie Eilish for Halloween. I work at Pro Image Sports; which sells jerseys and hats. Just so people knew I worked there while in costume, I decided my You baseball jersey would be perfect. I add some "when the party's over" tears just to real add to the Billie look. Lots of people recognized me as Billie so I want to thank my You jersey for being enough.

How it all started hm?

Well I first came into contact with Love Live around 2013 when I saw some screencaps on tumblr. From the little I knew I declared my best girls as Nico and Kotori. I even downloaded the game but soon uninstalled it because I was terrible lmao.

Fast forward to 2017, when some friends kept talking about Love Live and I decided to try again. With the little knowledge I had from 2013, I picked Nico as my started and got super confused about who Aqours were "Wait where's Nico and the others?" I asked them. Little did I know how that game would change my life...

Meeting Aqours, Ruby instantly caught my eye and stuck as my best girl until now. Her beautiful eyes caught my attention and after reading about her I just fell in love even more and now she's my beautiful daughter who I'm so proud of! Growing from just being "Dia's little sister" to a strong idol who's so talented and brave! Of course she still has her shy side but that's what makes her so special and sweet! Actually my second UR overall in the game was hers!

After then I started noticing Maki and she climbed to the top. I always thought she was really pretty but after I idolized her Natsuiro Egao de 1, 2, Jump! card I was just amazed over how gorgeous she was??? Then I started to pay more attention to her side stories and I loved how sassy and “done with everything” she was and idk something about her just made me love her

And then I moved to the anime and I already loved her so much I was so excited to see her animated and when Honoka found her playing Aishiteru Banzai it was such a magical moment!! (I might have cried)

When I turned 18, my cake was Maki themed!

Also my twitter handle and carrd url is in her honor! (Melody of Promise is her initial UR's name!)

Now both of them are two of my favorite characters in the world and I couldn't be happier.

I know merch doesn't make anyone a bigger fan but I just love to have my best girls with me! Specially Maki's manjuu and Ruby's neso which I can squeeze and hug whenever I'm feeling worse

In 2018 I cosplayed Nico for the very first time! Every since I got to know her in 2013 and all the memes and posts I used to see that I knew I wanted to cosplay her and now she's one of my favorite cosplays and people even recognize me for her!!

Last year around october I lost my account which made me super sad, but I got a fresh start since a friend gave me a starter with Ruby's Christmas UR! And now I managed to got so many beautiful cards of my best girls!

I hope SIFAS blesses me the same way!!

I think this is getting long enough but summing up

I've been in the fandom for around 3 years now and it has made me so happy! I treasure every single moment I've had with these girls From crying with the anime and final live, to cheering for Aqours as they climbed their way to become number 1. From being frustrated for not getting a card to screaming and crying of joy for soloing a favorite. From not even being able to pass the tutorial to now playing a brand new game with amazing new features!

And now I get to see Nijigasaki girls from the start and I can't wait what the future holds for them!

I've met so many incredible friends thanks to Love Live and I couldn't be more thankful

I deal with depression and anxiety and my best girls calm me down so much! Whenever I'm feeling stressed out or sad I just look at them or play one of the games a little and feel calmer! I'm super happy I got to join this amazing fandom! Thank you for everything Love Live! ♡

Heyo! I don't know too much about this site but it looks like a social media site just for Love Live? That's pretty cool! I've been a fan of the series for a little over a year now (though I've been following it for a bit longer than that) and it has all but consumed my life lol. As my name suggests, Chika is my best girl and she means the world to me! Hi! I'm Eumber and here's my drumroll Idol Story! I was an love live fan for as long as I can remember. I also vividly remember being made fun of a lot by my fellow weebs in middle school for liking that "Dumb Kids Show" so from then on I kept my idol interests more of a secret. (Though I still played the game and the music always calmed me when I was upset or panicking)

Then after a lot of struggling at my old school I ended up transferring to a new school and a new class. I ended up playing sif on the first day and one of the girls in the class came up to me and recognized the muse girls as girls from an anime she watched a while back! We ended up hanging out more and more, watching the whole series together (both muse and aqours), watched lives together with our nesoberis, and now we cosplay together! She's my best friend now and we both will talk about "That dumb kids show" constantly.

I learned from my idol journey to not be ashamed (or as ashamed) of my dorky interests and to disregard anyone who says otherwise ^^

So maybe I should post smth on here? Well, my name is Lydia and I do cosplay... So far I've cosplayed Yoshiko and Kanan and I recently got my Nico wig as well! I am also in a german Love Live Showgroup called Kirari Idols (please consider following on IG uwu). I started cosplay about a year ago when a friend of mine forc- I mean... invited me to join Kirari Idols. I do have to confess that I mainly joined this community to get in-game resources but maybe I'll still have fun on here!
