in october 2015, my best friend at the time told me about this game she had downloaded called love live. as someone new to the anime community, i was eager to find more and more shows to watch and fandoms to get into. on october 29, 2015, i downloaded the game and immediately fell in love. i remember listening to borarara and yuujou no change on loop all the time after i downloaded it, and i even tried to draw a poster of the download screen with all the chibis because of how cute i thought it was! as i played the game more and more, i developed an affinity for idol music, and i became determined to become an idol too! even though my journey was tumultuous, and it took so much hard work to learn the japanese language, i uploaded my first cover of aishiteru banzai to youtube in august 2016. following my first upload, i began joining cover groups as well, always auditioning for my best girls (rin and eli at the time). however, there was one group in particular that, though i didnt know it at the time, would be the most important idol group i tried out for: mirai muse. i auditioned when the leader, kp, rebooted the group and was scouting for a new cast. i auditioned, and im so glad i did. kp is one of the most important people in my life, and i have no clue where i'd be without her ♡♡ from muse to aqours to nijigasaki, love live has grown with me, and i have grown with it. my passion and love for music and art have grown immensely, i've made many friends (and gotten into a wonderful relationship), and i've learned more about myself that has helped me grow into the person i am today. thank you forever, love live. 愛してるばんざーい! ♡♡♡♡♡♡♡♡♡

I first found out about Love Live after finding the First season online in 2017. I started to watch it and fell in love with Kotori and her personality, along with the franchise. I then found Love Live Sunshine after seeing the opening intro on YouTube which introduced me to Kanan. Since then, I have cosplayed quite a few versions of Kanan and adding more Kotori cosplays to my list next year.

I have 15 Kanan nesoberi’s currently and 6 Kotori nesoberi’s with both shrines growing. AVCON 2019, I entered idolized Easter Kanan into the cosplay Competition and won Best Female Character which makes me love Kanan Matsuura even more as I managed while cosplaying her to reach a goal I had since 2017.

I love when I get a card of my best girls especially when it’s a card that I have been trying to get for ages. I pretty much squealed when I got Easter Kanan and was able to idolized her as that card now means so much to me. I definitely plan to enter a Kotori cosplay into a competition in the future and see what that brings me.

My girlfriend in like 8th grade played it and one day during the superbowl (i don't care for sports) I was extremely bored and downloaded it. that was like 6 years ago. Now I do song covers and a lot of group cover projects as well as art and edits... I was a pretty hot shot editor back in the day, but now i'm just chillin' with my Umi shrine these days. hihi !! my name's fumika and i absolutely adore love live! my best girls are honoka, ruby, and rina, and i also have an immense love for the aqours second years! honoka is one of my major comfort characters and dokis and seeing cute fanart of her and listening to her solos with her beautiful voice always cheers me up. how optimistic, energetic, and determined she is is something i admire so so much and i hope that one day maybe i can be more like her.

i got into love live! sometime around 2016, when i was just entering middle school. everything made me anxious that year since it was new people and new things and i became really, really shy once i realized how judgemental people could be. i put up a major shell with everyone i came into contact with. i didn't want to go out with people or anything either out of fear i wouldn't be good enough. one day i was looking for mobile anime games to play, and i just so happened to find school idol festival !!! it sparked my interest in not only love live and rhythm games, but also music. i started with watching love live sunshine instead of school idol project which was a weird decision on my part, but i loved it so so much !! i loved the performances and the songs and the character designs and the messages throughout the show about finding what makes you shine, chasing your dreams, friendships, and also a little bit of coming to terms with yourself. to me, this is what love live! stands for! it became a major comfort for me, and since i was shy and really similar to ruby back then, seeing her character development in s2 made me even more happy.

i watched school idol project a while after, but no other character got all my love as much as honoka did. a lot of what i see in her i see in myself and she's just a really relatable character to me. you'll probably see me post about her and my other girls a lot here.. i call them my babies or wives or girlfriends a lot and i hope that's not too annoying! it's just one of my ways of expressing my love for them. i also have self inserts i might talk about from time to time because it's one of my ways of coping with things,, love live! is a major comfort series and has helped me a lot throughout my life. i'm trying to step out of my comfort zone and talk to more people who like things i like so i hope i can make friends here !!

How did everything start, huh?

I remember it as if it was yesterday~

It all started back in 2015. I had my boyfriend staying over for the weekend. While I was cooking, he was playing this weird game (or so I thought at the time) on his tablet. I had no idea what SIF nor Love Live! was at all. I remember he was playing a Score Match and got Niko puri♥Joshi dou in Expert. He almost FC'd it and got second place, iirc. "That song is so stupid!" I thought when I heard it. In fact, from the little bit I saw of him playing, I disliked Nico!

Fast-forward to a couple of weeks later~ My dad announced he didn't want his tablet anymore so he was going to sell it. I pleaded for him to let me have it instead and he accepted. As soon as I got a hold of it, I found myself downloading SIF. EVEN THOUGH I DIDN'T LIKE IT. I chose Honoka as my starter partner and the first song I tried playing was... None other than Nico's solo!! And then I just... Fell in love with the game. I quickly warmed up to Maki and Nico too! After playing for a few days, I decided to watch the anime series too. Both Maki and Nico grew even more on me~

Then we got Aqours! Mari was my favorite by a long shot, with her listening to Rock and Metal music, just like me~ But as of recently, I've noticed my love for Chika grow and grow and grow! I identify with her in a way I've never identified with any anime/game character before and she easily became my top best girl ;;

All of this has led me through Sukutomo and its community and enabled me to meet a bunch of amazing people. Some I consider close friends. And now it brought me here. Hoping to meet even more wonderful people!

I’m a tiny bit late and I’m bad with words but here we go.

My Love Live journey starts January 11th of 2016. At the time I was mostly into sports anime and otome games; as was my sister so when she found someone doing a genderbent voiced ask blog for one of our favorite otome games we both wanted to join in! We both got in so we were in contact with the person running it, one of my now best friends. When me and him were talking once he mentioned he was playing Love Live! Which I had heard of but never fully knew what it was, so I asked him. I downloaded the game that same day!

I picked Kotori as my starter because she was a Virgo like me! Reading the story I immediately loved Rin, she’s been my best girl since day 1 ♥︎

I don’t really remember exactly when but I watched the muse anime aswell and eventually found out about Aqours. At first I.. really didn’t like them! But I quickly realized how childish I was and decided I was excited for them to happen! Riko was my best girl at first but then it became Ruby after researching them more. I downloaded the JP server around this time aswell. Then, the anime came. I watched it and loved Ruby with every fiber of my being.

However.. something happened..

I was listening to Mirai Ticket’s short version on loop cause I was super excited for it to come out! And every time it got to Chika’s “Minna! Issho ni! Kagayako!!” I.. started having this weird feeling.. flashbacks to Chika in the anime. My mind went blank. I stopped everything I was doing. ‘Is Chika my best girl? But I didn’t feel this way till now!’

So I rewatched the anime. Paying close attention to Chika.

She.. was beautiful.. I was so entranced.. she was everything I ever wanted to be. To answer my own question, yes, Chika is your best girl.

PDP is announced. I’m so excited! Once all the girls were released Ayumu was my favorite to start! It stayed that way for awhile. And then.. gremlin Kasumi said “:)” and she became my best girl. I actually.. really didn’t like Kasumi at first.. how stupid was I?

And then.. Nico Yazawa.. she had been my second best girl for awhile but.. something felt weird.. I loved her just as much as Rin..I just didn’t want to admit it. Early 2019 I accepted her finally and I’ve been suffer- I mean enjoying having 4 best girls since!

I also met basically all of my best friends through Love Live or idols in general! But it’s all thanks to Love Live that I got into any other idols to begin with!

Thank you Love Live for introducing me to so many series I love to this day. If it weren’t for you I’d still be so lonely, shy, and cast out. You opened my mind and my heart. I’m forever grateful to you.

I created this account mainly to share my story as the whole Love Live franchise means the world to me. So uhh... hello! I'm Miya, your local Ai, You and Kotori oshi that loves LL a whole lot!

I found LL by accident, one of my friends was playing the game and I started asking them about it. That's honestly a miracle, I've never been interested in mobile games, especially the rhythm ones. Around that time I went to a new school and I couldn't adapt as my social anxiety was making everything harder that it really was. So I spent most of the breaks alone, playing LL, reading stories and slowly falling in love with the game. Whenever I was feeling down, like everything was too much for me, LL was there to make me happy. My best girls always popped up on the home screen at the right time, saying the right things and making me smile. I know that sounds cheesy, it does for me too, but that really was magical. I can't stress enough how much my best girls mean to me (and how much money I spent on them), how much they helped me and inspired me to become a better, more confident person.

What's gotten me into the game is also the music. Never been a fan of japanese music/language but no regretti. I've met so many amazing people because of this game that has honestly change my life for the better! And I really do hope that this game and your best girls make you as happy as they make me!

Hi I'm Sand! I like drawing, games, and music! I watched LLSIP when I was younger and I didn't know much about it and never got into it. Then a friend introduced me to SIF around a year ago and I played because I remember watching LLSIP. When I first played the game I wasn't sure if I really liked Aqours or Nijigaku but I fell in love with them. My best girls are Nozoeli, smile attribute Aqours, and 2nd years Nijigaku!

What’s your Love Live! story?

Oh, goodness, let me think...

I think I started getting into Love Live! towards the end of 2016. I didn't get into Love Live! as a series through anything Love Live!-related, somehow. I was a big Yuri!!! on ICE fan back then, and I soon came across a custom SIF beatmap for Arashi No Rhapsody, a song sung by two of the VAs in the show. Later, I found the game that the beatmap was based off of: Love Live! School Idol Festival. I had no clue that Arashi No Rhapsody was a CUSTOM beatmap, so I was about to delete the app right on the spot. However, when I started reading through the story, Nico said her catchphrase- the infamous Nico-Nico-Nii- and I knew there was an anime to this game. I only knew of μ's at that time and absolutely despised Aqours. I didn't get the concept that the two were different groups. Oh, and confession: I thought μ's was some secret prep school group that the game developers wanted to hide under Aqours, which is exactly why I chose a μ's member (Hanayo) as my partner. I found Hanayo to be a character I could relate to at the fullest extent. I loved her voice more than anyone else's. No one could match up to Hanayo in my eyes. Yet eventually, Maki found her way to the top of my list. I originally didn't like her because I felt she was too overrated, but I eventually tried to see why so many people liked her. (After a few voice comparisons, Hanayo fell even further down the list...)

I wasn't able to warm up to Aqours until earlier this year (I even liked Nijigasaki immediately!). Yoshiko- Er, I mean, Yohane- was my best girl. Because she was overrated and I wanted to see why.

The first Love Live! merchandise I bought ended up being a Hanamaru nesoberi. Don't ask me how. I was eventually able to warm up to Aqours enough to actually watch the anime, rather than have it playing in the background while I cooked.

I eventually started drawing the girls- I've drawn all of μ's and Aqours.

Even later, I decided I'd make my own idol group. That by itself fueled my love for Love Live! even more, more than I thought it would.

Hey! I'm Jason and I'm an Aqours fan first, a LL fan second. My best girls in Aqours are Dia, Yohane, and Hanamaru. I'm not familiar enough with the other groups to have a best girl but I do love the designs of Maki and Kotori when it comes to Muse and of the PDP girls I'm currently eying Setsuna, Shizuko, and Kanata as potential faves.

I got into LL when Sunshine!! dropped. I'd tried to get into the original show but negative fandom buzz put me off of it. But the announcement of a new group was exciting and discovering who Dia's seiyuu was was even more exciting so that pushed me to check out Sunshine!! and I've been an Aqours fan ever since. I'm still hesitant to watch Muse's story but maybe that'll change once All Stars gets its North American release and I can actually play the game.

hiya everyone! my school idol story began when a good friend of mine suggested watching love live when i was first getting into anime. my friend showed me some of the cards from llsif, and i thought they all looked pretty cute! the first video that i saw of love live was nico's nico nico nii scene. i was hesitant to get into love live at first but, eventually i saw season one sometime in october 2015.

when i first saw rin hoshizora, i immediately decided she was my best girl! something about her appearance, voice, and behavior struck a chord within me. after watching season 2 episode 5, i really loved rin even more!

after watching the anime and the movie, i got into llsif in march 13, 2016, at first i had an en account but i deleted it later in the year. i now have a jp account since april 2, 2016. i got sifas the day it came out.

i watched aqours season 1 as soon as it came out, but i have only watched up to season 2 episode 2 of love live sunshine. initially, when news about aqours was first released, kanan was my best girl, but as i watched the anime, i thought chika was the best because of her bright, bubbly personality, and her energy is so contagious!

i owe it to love live to maintaining and building up my interest in anime and idols, and having such cheery idols that motivate me to do many things!

I thought I should finally introduce myself! I'm Lucinda and my Love Live story started about 4 years ago. I had seen it around as it was when Sunshine was airing but my first major Love Live experience was going to a convention that was pretty much Love Live central. I saw my first dance cover group up on stage, and even though I knew nothing about the songs or characters, I knew that I wanted to be a part of a community like that! That night I went home and downloaded the mobile game and also binge-watched all of the first season :D

By the same convention the next year I was performing Omoi yo Hitotsu ni Nare as Yohane and it was an amazing experience. Unfortunately it was a one off group and I really wanted to join a permanent one. I was finally able to do so later that year, funnily enough on the same day I also saw my first delayed viewing- Happy Party Train. Ever since then I've enjoyed working with my group PastelPop so much! (You should check us out at @pastelpoplive on insta btw~)!

Love Live has changed my life so much. I've met new friends and gained a lot more confidence to do things I would usually never even consider (like dancing on stage for one!) It's made me branch out into different art styles, focus more on my other hobbies like singing too, and created a fun way to keep active.

That's my general Love Live story. There's a lot more but it's 3am currently T-T I'll add that my best girls (currently) are Hanamaru, Emma, Eli and Honoka and I'm a All Stars screenshot fanatic!
