Today, after a long wait, I finally read Season 2 in its entirety. Pretty good. Lanzhu and Mia confirm themselves as very fresh additions to the Love Live franchise, and their characters did not disappoint. Chapters 22 and 27 made justice to the characters of my best girls Rina and Shioriko as well and made me love them even more. Overall, pretty solid.

...except that's not the end of it. Freaking Chapter 25. It changed me. It gave me an insight on the Niji 3rd years I never had before and though possible. This story made me a bit iffy on Karin but Chapter 25 gave her the redemption necessary for me to love her again. Said Chapter also made me love Kanata too damn much, even more than before. Such a kind and motherly girl...

...and then there's Emma. Godamn Emma. I already loved her a lot before this chapter came into my mind but now... now I can truly say "I fell in love with Emma Verde". There is no mistaking it. Emma is a best girl for me. Too kind. Too soothing. Too lovely. She is perfect. As the supreme Hanayo fan that I am, I cannot believe it took me this long to realize Emma has best girl material. But now I know. Emma is a best girl, just like Rina and Shioriko are. Welcome home, Emma Verde!
