**103rd Term / 1st-Year Description:** A Hasunosora 1st year who is clumsy, but is a genuine hard worker. She was a figure skater when she was little, and although her grades are good, she still has some worries... She is a serious person who finds it difficult to ignore others and is determined to help them with their troubles, but she can also be a bit air-headed. <hr> **104th Term / 2nd-Year Description:** A second-year at Hasunosora Girls’ High. Sayaka is an athlete who has performed as a figure skater from a young age. She is very sincere and never leaves others behind, and although she is very diligent and takes care of others, she can be somewhat of an airhead at times. She is a very skilled cook and often takes care of Tsuzuri. <hr> **Background:** Sayaka is also an accomplished figure skater in addition to being a school idol. The whole reason that she came to Hasunosora was because she stopped progressing as a figure skater; after being told that she "was not expressive enough", she wanted to figure out how she could grow beyond that. She was attracted to the School Idol Club after seeing Tsuzuri Yugiri's performance and immediately accepted an invitation to join. Sayaka has an older sister named Tsukasa who was known as an exceptional skater until her injury two years prior. Sayaka is determined to continue figure skating for her sister, with her being the reason she took it up in the first place. However, her fatal flaw was that she tried to emulate her sister exactly, losing her expressiveness and uniqueness through trying to replicate someone else. <hr> **Personality**: Sayaka is awkward, but also a genuine hard worker who doesn't give up when times are tough. Even though her grades are good, but she has trouble when it comes to her personal life. This is because she can be too serious, even giving simple lunchboxes her all. She also can't bring herself to neglect other people, and can unintentionally give help where it isn't wanted. Upon entering Hasunosora, she initially had no desire for friends, likely because of her lack of humor and sometimes clumsy social skills. Sayaka is very formal and always makes sure to address others formally. She is more reserved and stiff than her fellow 1st years, Kaho Hinoshita and Rurino Osawa, and often worries that her stiffness might drive others away. However, these mannerisms prove invaluable for her relationship with Tsuzuri; by listening patiently and nudging her along with questions, Sayaka can help her sort out complicated situations. This dynamic between Sayaka's grounded nature and Tsuzuri's light and airy personality allows for a successful partnership. She is unable to leave others alone when they need help, as is shown in her relationship with Tsuzuri. Sayaka wakes her in the mornings, makes her lunch, takes her to practice, and generally keeps her on track. Kozue Otomune expressed pity towards taking care of her, but Sayaka doesn't mind the added responsibility, even finding new joy in cooking after making Tsuzuri's bentos. She can talk at length about Tsuzuri's performances, and greatly respects (and envies) her inherent talent. This is expanded upon with the arrival of Kosuzu, as she is now her senpai and mentor. She feels a great deal of responsibility towards her, and will go to great lengths to help her. Sayaka is someone who works extremely hard at everything she does, putting in a lot of time and effort to be good at both figure skating and idol activities. After joining the club, Sayaka focused on training to improve her skills, being nervous to perform as an idol for the first time. This is much different from Kaho, who jumped right into performing despite being a total newbie. <hr> **Appearance:** Sayaka is a pale, slim girl with dark blue hair that she wears tied with light blue ribbons in low twintails. The right is in front of her, while the left rests behind her back. Her eyes are also blue. <hr> **Group Role:** Sayaka is the co-president of Hasunosora's School Idol Club following the graduation of the 102nd class.
