Idolcon 2021 My Lurking Experiance

I was so glad I got to attend this year's Idolcon (being my 3rd one) and to be honest? It was even more hype than last year! Even though I was working on a non Love-Live related project all week end I really didn't want to miss out. I did catch the D4DJ series playthrough by them the night before the con as it gave me something to listen to.

Then came day 0... Completely missed out I was out and busy all day so that day was a sad miss.

Day 1 I got to listen in on Risa Tsumugi's Q&A and it was amazing. When she found out she had fans all over the world I even had feels. Reminding me how much Muse and Aqours have fans all over and how Aqours performed in America. As I'm working on something that's a love letter to another franchise I had a very tender moment that gave me reinvigoration to keep working on it! Iwas working while raving singing along to the songs DJ Crumb2, Axesniper and DJ Mikanmaru24 were playing the whole rave.

Day 2 I snuck in the Shu Uchida panel but I can barely remember it as it was a whirlwind day and as I can't review what I remember due to head fog and no archive I can't remember it at all... I just remember it was as nice as Risa's so all I can do is give a What the heck in my best Mia Taylor voice. Then it was more rave time. I think the raves might be my favorite parts because it sounds like the playlists i'm used to!

Day 3 I started by looking through the shops because you never know sometimes you see something for the wishlist... other times you see something you want to show someone for a future gift idea. Then I watched the Karin Kagami Q&A and DJ session and I sang along. Honestly... kinda off topic... Why Can't we have Friend Shitai in D4DJ english... I love School Live! and have 2/3rds the manga about now with a Kirumi Plush to go with... Back on topic... Maybe if they can get Arisa Komiya to show maybe she could do the same thing? Who knows... then I got to see the closing ceremony and some more DJ work.

Honestly, I had a fun time even though I was doing things around the house and on my project. This weekend gave me a big reason to keep working on my project! I was so happy to watch this weekend and lurk and I am looking forward to next year!
