103rd Term / 2nd-Year Description:
A Hasunosora second-year. She has been working in the entertainment industry from a young age, so she is aware of her cuteness and is perfectly willing to work hard to be seen as such. However, since she never does things she is not interested in, she was forced to enroll in the school because of her poor academic performance. Due to certain circumstances, she is taking a break from school idol activities.
Background:
Rurino and her are childhood friends, and have known each other from a young age. As the older one, she tried to be the cooler, more experienced senpai, taking on big challenges such as becoming a child actress just to impress Rurino. She did everything she could to portray herself as perfect and dazzling, hiding the many auditions and setbacks she had actually faced to get there.
Because of her horrible school performance, she was forced to take a break from the entertainment industry and enroll at Hasunosora, where she joined the school idol club as a first year. She performed in Mira-Cra Park! with Sachi before the Love Live! regional qualifier, where she fell off the stage and was forced to quit the club. She spent a long time in rehab, and although her injury is healed, she is still psychologically scarred from the incident and can't bring herself to dance on stage. She has spent the remainder of her first year and half of her second year doing livestreams from her room instead.
Before attending Hasunosora, her mother made her promise to become "a fine and sensible person" before graduating. Her mother, while usually kind, can be very scary when angered, and is known to lecture for hours on end.
Personality:
She is self-conscious of her own cuteness, so she spares no effort in order to be seen as cute. This can be seen in her creation of "ハロめぐ/Hello Megu", the unique greeting she's made for herself, along with it's variants (such as "バイめぐ/Bye Megu"). During this greeting, she sticks her right arm out and winks her right eye, making it her signature pose. Her academic performance is poor since she absolutely won't do things she's not interested in, and she doesn't even know that the word "proofs" relates to math. She spends almost every day in supplementary classes due to failing almost every test. In regards to her favorite subject, she simply says "It's okay to not study because it won't help you in the future".
She and Rurino Osawa are friends since their middle school. Being a year older, she strives to be ahead of Rurino, wanting to appear as the cool, older girl. However, despite her gravitas, she holds fear and insecurity deep in her heart. She can become quite upset when losing, with Rurino needing to calm her down lest she spiral into depression or further anger.
Appearance:
She has long brown hair, appearing thicker than the other character's. She pins it back using two pink clips, so that only two strands are in front of her. She has purple eyes, and her bangs are swept towards the right. She wears the green third year ribbon.
