Background:

Kosuzu applied to the School Idol Club because she admired Sayaka Murano in particular. She lives in the city of Tsuruga, and is the youngest in a family of ten (though they're not all siblings, her grandparents and cousins live with them as well). She described herself as being "useless" at home, saying that she tried to help out with the fishing back in elementary school but got hurt pretty badly in the process. Ever since then, her family has treated her like a doll: someone fragile that they need to protect.

She has grown up believing that she has never done a single amazing thing in her life, working hard but never achieving any results. This drive is likely brought on her poor self-image, as well as her determination to do her best as a school idol.

Personality:

Kosuzu first appears as a frazzled, panicked girl who believes she has never achieved anything. She has an extremely low self-esteem, putting herself down and stating things like, "It'd be better if I wasn't around". She constantly worries if she's bothering others, calling herself a shameless good for nothing that "has only ever been a burden to others". It is for this reason that she makes up seemingly pointless goals, such as crossing the lake, in order to feel like she's accomplished something. But despite the many goals she makes for herself, she doesn't believe that any will come true, stating that "there isn't the tiniest fraction of a chance that everything will go perfectly".

But as she gets to know Tsuzuri and Sayaka, she is instilled with a new drive: to finally become something as a member of DOLLCHESTRA. Sayaka, recognizing her will power as being similar to her own, respects her relentless motivation and hard work, likening her to a hard-working, bright yellow color.

To pump herself up, she shouts "Chesuto!!", a phrase which she got from her grandfather. She tends to freeze up and speak a mile a minute when nervous, but speaks very matter-of-factly and to the point. Kosuzu is eager to challenge new things, despite expecting to fail, and isn't afraid to keep trying no matter how often she has to.

Kosuzu's biggest weakness is giving up before she's even started something, and is obvlious to the fact she doesn't get the difference between courage and recklessness. However, her biggest strength is that since she spends so much time watching and being envious of others, she's good at identifying people's strengths. She's also good at complimenting people and making them feel more confident about themselves.

Appearance:

Kosuzu is a girl with pale skin. She has pale purple, pinkish eyes and brown hair that hangs down below her shoulders, with a strand curling away from her head on the right side. Her hair is braided on either side of her face and tied at the base of her neck with a dark blue ribbon.
