<a href="https://www.80g.co/section-80g">Section 80g</a> of the income tax act has been very relevant in the progress of indigenous rights since it encourages contributions to nongovernmental organizations involved in tribal prosperity, land rights, culture and livelihood maintenance. It can do this by providing tax deductions to donors, thereby directing more funds to the grassroots level where indigenous communities are able to empower themselves through the protection of heritage, inclusive development.
