Day 27: Symbol

I've always been a big fan of the symbolism in the Love Live! universe. From the feather travelling from a generation to the other, to how you can tell a girl just from a small icon and its color. Even without using the actual icons, if you just draw a 4-leaves-clover and a yellow bow, you just know it's Chika. So many little details like that. It's just really cool!

Day 26: μ's

My first encounter with μ's was when I installed SIF. I picked Eli as my starter because I liked her blond hair.

In a way, this R card represents the very beginning of my Love Live! story. 📒✍️

For this entry, I tried to remake my in-game experience when I played SIF for the first time, with this little live show video + home screen copycat ♥

Day 25: Water

I was skeptical I could fall in love with Aqours the way I fell in love with μ's - until I heard Koi ni naritai Aquarium. That song is a bop.

Day 24: Live show

Nothing beats that feeling when you clear a live show with a full combo.

Day 23: Dream card

Kasumi adding all the cards of herself into her Idol Story profile's list of favorite cards, while dreaming of scouting them one day.

I have too many dream cards I'd like to scout one day myself. F2p struggles.

Day 22: Aqours

I have too many beautiful memories with Aqours, so for this prompt, I decided to go back to the roots.

I feel like I met Aqours twice, and I wanted to illustrate both of these precious moments.

Once with the announcement of the new "Love Live! Sunshine!!" project, with this gorgeous picture of Chika on the beach. Redrawing the background was not something I was comfortable with, but I really wanted to make it myself!

And then again when the first song, "Kimi no kokoro ga kagayaiteru kai", was released. That's why I made her wear the outfit from the song.

Day 21: Music

I like drawing Maki's hair. Her hairstyle is unique, fun and cute.

Day 20: Fierce

It took me longer to figure out what I wanted to do for the background than the drawing itself 😂

Besides that, I like that Umi doesn't have eyes. It helps with the dramatic effect, right?

Day 19: Best friend

I love the relationship dynamic between Hanayo and Rin. I love the scene where Hanayo is here to support Rin when she wears a wedding dress, but I think I love even more when Rin (and Maki) push Hanayo towards making her dreams come true and becoming a school idol by joining μ's. It's really that episode that made me love Hanayo so much and that's when she became my best girl.

Day 18: Thankful

Thank you so much, Idol Story staff, for all the things you do for the site, the community, and our social media. Thanks for the amazing database you filled up with so many details, especially the songs, the idols, and the voice actresses. Thank you for always sharing Love Live! news so quickly and for being such a reliable source of information. Thank you for organizing these super fun events with the community that make everyone get together and create beautiful things. Thanks for always being so patient with me, who's always late developing the features you ask me for 🙇

Happy 1st anniversary, Idol Story! I'm so happy, proud and grateful to be part of such an amazing group of people, and I hope to keep working with you again for another year, and more!

Day 17: On stage

I tried to recreate this iconic moment in the LoveLive! international community when everyone got together to create a beautiful rainbow of penlights at AX2018: AqouRainbow 🌈

I wasn't there to experience this beautiful moment, but I was following live all my friends who were there and it was just so intense and magical ✨ I'm so proud of this community 👏

Day 16: Fan

I had been to conventions and live shows before, but it's really Zehel who introduced me to the whole world of wotas and their oshis when I moved to Singapore. He let me borrow one of his penlights many times before I bought my own. He really taught me how intense and joyful cheering for your favorite idols can be, so I'm very thankful to him for that.

I didn't want to draw myself, so I drew the character I play in most video games where you can customize your own character. For the outfit, I picked the school uniform that was created by Sukutomo's community. It's so precious to me ♥
