maki Why is Maki so eagerly waiting in line?

It all started a few days ago.

Maki arrived at the club room. She was the first one to arrive. "Maybe I can do this now while the girls aren't here." She thought to herself as she took some paper and a pen from her school bag. The girl sat down and started writing with a big smile on her face. She was so focused at her task, she didn't even notice Nico coming in. The black haired girl stood silently behind her friend, trying to peek over her shoulder. "AH! A letter to Santa?" Nico shouted startling Maki. "You still believe in Santa? Ahah!" Maki's face became red, not only from embarrassment but also from anger. "Of course! Mister Santa is real!" At that moment, the other μ's members showed up. They're all used to Nico and Maki bickering with each other but they still felt the need to ask what was up. Maki explained what happened. "Nico, you shouldn't tease Maki for her beliefs." Kotori softly voiced. "Beliefs?? Even you, Kotori?" Maki was sad at the realization that none of her friends believed in Santa Claus and stormed out of the room. "This isn't good..." Nozomi was concerned. For the following days, the red haired girl would occasionally glare at her idol friends making the overall mood difficult to bear. And, needless to say, it was affecting their practices. "Nico, you have to do something about this." Umi urged the third year student. She was about to shout "WHY ME" but then glanced over Maki and felt bad. "Alright. I'll think of something." At home, Nico was checking her social media, like she always did, trying to figure out a way to make amends. And that's when the light shone upon her. On her time line, she saw an add for a town event called "Greet Santa". That was it. Nico quickly messaged all the μ's girls and devised a plan to surprise Maki. A couple of days later, after school, they waited for Maki at the clubroom. "I'm here. Let's practice." Maki's words were dry. "Not today. We have somewhere important to go." Eli announced as she placed a blindfold on Maki. The latter struggled of course. Who in their sane mind would blindfold someone else like this? Somehow, they safely arrived at their destiny. Honoka took Maki's blindfold off. "We're here. Go say hello to Mister Santa." Maki looked at her friends and then forward. She spotted a gorgeous Christmas tree and a big red chair. It was Santa's chair. "Girls... Thank you." Happy tears rolled down her face.
