We've got 35+ pieces of art, and lots of great artists on boards. Funds will go to United Way Worldwide to help families in need in the current crisis.

today in japan is kanan's birthday, and i just want to talk about kanan is a majorly important character to me.

i got into love live when i was in a very severe and dark place in my life. it was some of my worst depression and anxiety bouts ever. i ended up downloaded school idol festival, because i saw a mutual on instagram talking about it.

kanan caught my eye right away. she was the first partner girl i picked. i loved her design, her voice, her hobbies, all of it.

soon after, i finally actually watched sunshine itself, and i fell even more in love. kanan's story was extremely interesting and her dynamic with mari and dia deeply reminds me of my own dynamic with some of my closest friends; i still often have to hold back tears listening mijuku dreamer because of it. i think she's beautiful and mature but still has a soft and funny side and isnt afraid to joke around. she's strong and athletic and a great older sister figure to chika.

kanan has been my number one in the beginning, and it sounds stupid but some days i wouldnt want to wake up but i would so i could get my daily bonus from llsif and see kanan.

kanan is such a deeply important character to me and while i do not play love live's games as often as other games now, kanan means the world to me. she's one of my favorite characters ever.

overall, i love kanan so much. she's such a great character and i hope people see that in her! please love this buff dolphin mom! kanan i hope you have a great day and celebrate it with aqours together!!! happy birthday kanan!!!

kanan’s mijuku dreamer outfit has always given me Christmas vibes. i only had my ipad to take pictures so the quality of this isn’t the best, im sorry! just thought it would be fun to join this. i don’t know if this is “winter themed”enough? christmas is wintery right?

btw, if any of you are wondering about the zine’s application due dates, it’s january 4th! please don’t be afraid to apply even if you think your aren’t isn’t “good enough”. your art is amazing and we are looking for artists of all experience levels so we can show off a unique amount of art styles!! due to how many artists we’re aiming for, there’s a pretty large chance you’ll be accepted!

No.10 Mascot/Representative: Meet Masami Asa!

Hello friends! In a way to represent all the amazing artists of the community, meet Masami Asa, our “mascot” for the No.10 zine!

Masami Asa (朝 成美) is a 19 year old university student. Though she has slightly intimidating appearances, Masami is a diehard Love Live! fan; she adores all 27 girls of Muse, Aqours, and Nijigasaki! In high school, Masami attempted to follow the path of the school idol, but unfortunately, she failed to succeed. Masami became deeply depressed, but after watching the legendary concert of Muse, Aqours, and Nijigasaki together, she found new energy and passion. She, to this day, credits them for helping her become motivated again. Masami discovered a love of art and manga, and has now found a new way to shine: as a manga artist! Masami is passionate and dedicated, working multiple jobs to fund her university and manga work, however she’s… somewhat of a mess! Although she’s very hardworking, Masami is a bit disorganized and is in fact quite shy and struggles talking in front of others. Despite her cool, intimidating looks, she’s pretty easily embarrassed. Nicknamed “Masa-tan” by her highschool friends, and using “Sōgyō-sensei” as her name whilst publishing manga, Masami is a representation of the broad and amazing community of artists the Love Live fandom has.

Masami is a lesbian, a representation of the large LGBT+ side of the community. Various parts of her personality represent how we, the zine runners, see the Love Live community as a whole.

No.10: A Zine Dedicated to Ten Years of Love Live

Hi there! My name's Kennedy, and this upcoming year, I'm trying my hand at running a zine to celebrate the 10th anniversary of Love Live!

Love Live is a deeply meaningful series to me as I actually got into it at the time my depression and anxiety were at an all time high. It helped me cope and take my mind away from the stuff that was going on in my head, so it's always been extremely special to me, which is why I want to celebrate the upcoming 10th anniversary of the series!

If you don't know, while 9 is a big number for the Love Live series, 10 is also a rather important number to the franchise as well. The groups often refer to the fans as their "tenth member", a fact which is most obvious with Aqours- they, of course, have a song called No.10!

I want to celebrate the fans and the series itself, as the 10th year in itself could represent the year to celebrate the fans and the amazing, huge community we've built over the years.
