Love in a Letter ♡

To share our love for the Love Live franchise and its talented voice actresses, Idol Story is hosting a fan letter event! Show your appreciation for the people who bring our favorite characters and songs to life by writing them a heartfelt message.

At the end of the event we will custom print your letters onto individual postcards and mail them to the official overseas fan mail address.

1. Write 3 short letters (max 700 characters) to your favorite µ's, Aqours, or Nijigasaki voice actress! (Moeka Koizumi and Yano Hinaki included).

   • You are welcome to submit fan art alongside your letter as long as the artwork is entirely drawn by you. Any submissions made using artwork not drawn by the post creator will be deleted. We will print your fan art on the front of your postcard. This is optional, but we encourage you to share your creativity! Please reference these dimensions. If the postcard dimensions are not used, we cannot guarantee that your art will properly fit.

2. Post your letter on 🌼 Idol Story 🎀: (and fan art if you're submitting it!)

3. Check the box next to the tag: Love in a letter and hit "Add post"!

General rules for posting apply, please be mindful of the fact that there is a chance that the voice actress or a Bushiroad staff member will be reading your letter. Keep it clean and appropriate as usual.

• All participants
  • will get a badge on their 🌼 Idol Story 🎀 profile and will have their letter (and optional fan art) mailed to the voice actress it is addressed to.

All postcards will feature art of the voice actresses' character drawn by our lovely team member SpringExalt. As mentioned above you are also welcome to submit your own fan art for the front of your postcard too as long as the art is 100% original.

• Do I have to pay to print and mail my letter?

  • No, but donations of any amount are highly appreciated and will help us create more events like this one!

• Will the voice actresses read my letter? Will they reply?

  • We have verified that the address we are mailing the letters to is the correct one for overseas fan mail. However, due to numerous factors we cannot guarantee that the voice actresses themselves will open them, read them or acknowledge them in any way. All letters are to be sent with this in mind.

• What about A-RISE, Saint Snow, and Liella? What about Lanzhu and Mia? Can we write to their voice actresses too?

  • We are only including the voice actresses for currently playable All Stars idols with the exception of Yu due to her large role in All Stars and the Nijigasaki anime. We may consider adding non All Stars members for future versions of this event though so please keep your eyes peeled!

• I want to submit fan art with my letter! Does an edit count? Can I include transparent card renders?

  • Unfortunately we can not accept edits or art submissions that use renders. Please ensure all art work is drawn entirely by you.

• Do I need to write my letter in Japanese?

  • Nope! English is perfectly acceptable and preferred. Letters will be sent to the Overseas fan mail address.

I am an overseas fan from California. I have been a Love Liver since 2016, and I only fell in love with Aqours in 2017. When I first started to watch the live concerts, the 1st live resonated with me incredibly. When you played the piano for that live, it was amazing to witness. Even more so when I read into the context for it. Ever since I watched that live, I admired you greatly. Seeing you and everyone in Aqours at Anime Expo even cemented my admiration. It's been a few years since then, and after all this time, I still idolize you. Especially with your recent ventures in a solo career, I couldn't be more proud and happy for you. I think I will be a fan for life. I look forward to your future. I hope soon I will be able to see you at a live, either in Japan or in LA.

I haven't been a fan of Love Live! for as long as others, and I was never able to see u's live, but I still really enjoy the franchise and the amount of work the seiyuu put into it. Since I discovered the anime, I've loved hearing Hanayo's singing no matter what song it is. I also loved seeing you in the 9th anniversary Love Live! Fes delayed viewing, and I cheered for you with a blade in Hanayo's green. I hope you've been doing well since u's stopped performing.

it's been a very long journey since μ's first debuted. I started my journey in the year 2014 when I discovered Love Live School Idol Festival and witnessed my first ever μ's song 僕らのLIVE 君とのLIFE. It was such a hapoy song, though I didn't understand since I couldn't speak japanese. But I looked up the lyrics and discovered it was a song of beginnings and to push forward with your goals, no matter how difficult it may seem as long as you believe. That's when I also discovered the anime. Right off the bat, I fell in love with Honoka's optimistic personality and her bond with her friends along with the songs μ's produced over the years. I knew right there that Love Live, μ's was what brought me back on my feet during my life of emotional pain and turmoil. This may sound exaggerated, but I feel like if it wasn't for the discovery of μ's, I most likely wouldn't be in this world anymore. That's the influence you've created on this earth. Everyone in μ's I appreciate greatly to the highest degree for all that you've done over the years for us, for Aqours, Nijigasaki and hopefully Liella. Around the world, people view the group μ's as legendary, because not onlt in the anime but in real life, you've all created a miracle. A miracle that has brought millions together to listen and share the joy that is Love Live. You nine became hope itself with your music and that's something I will hold close to me in my heart for as long as I live. I love μ's and I love Honoka Kousaka. I love them so much. I wish not only you but all the members who expresses the wishes of Love Live to live long, filled with great health and happiness and blessings. From the very beginning when I got into Love Live, Hanayo completely captured my heart from the first sight, and your performance of her elevated my love immensely. You always have a lovely voice no matter how you apply it, and I can't think of any of your songs that I am not in love with. I feel nervous and that it is hard to express how I'm feeling, but idols have changed my life and I will always thank you for being my spark.
