My Love Live! Story...

My username is LWentworth8567 and this is my Love Live! Story. It actually goes back to 2011… I was anime watching and found Idolm@ster was getting an anime. I heard and love the songs and was excited for it. That sparked the fuel for idol anime in me. (This set up was why I would hook in hard to Love Live! so I have to start there!) However, it would lay dormant for a while… waiting for January 6, 2013. The day that Love live started it’s anime. By this time I had my second mark as well… as after hearing the opening to A Certain Scientific Railgun I began to enjoy Fripside. Obviously, you know who I started with! (Hint it’s why she’s my best girl; she got the hooks in me to introduce me to all of the girls!) Then at one of the two Magfests (2015 we think), I went to they were selling Love Live! figures! I found one of Eli and bought her then. (I tried to look at old youtube vlogs to find it but I couldn’t but my girlfriend confirmed as we egged it in our things to get it home safe!) This is where there is a long time skip. Sunshine came out I didn’t watch it immediately as I was watching other things and trying to get things in order so... their story would wait. In the meantime, I would pick up Idolm@ster 2 and also get some Aikatsu! cards for my girlfriend and myself putting the love of idols harder inside! I also binged on K-On as well during this time gap. However, I would eventually catch up and watch the anime in around 2018 in a lull period. During this time I was also watching Aikatsu! with my girlfriend and with Idolm@ster anime well out now… It was time! I met the future cinnamon roll that would soon be important to me… In one month after I got news… My girlfriend was moving away. Now, this was out of our control but it dropped me hard.

This led me to try to dull the pain by picking up another Idol game… Love Live School Idol Festival! I started with Eli and then Nozomi also took me in giving me presents including Eli being my first UR and Nozomi my first IDOLIZED UR! Both of them sit on my main team so Nozomi often pops up to say hi to people! However, soon Ruby would try to enter my life and secure the fandom for all of the Love Live! Cast. You can see the whole story on the links I’ll include but the short version is… I tended to win her cards and when I was down she would be there to make a loud Ganbaruby! It would get better soon as she and her sister Dia with her voice being the former Yellow Buster (yay Sentai!) would begin to really help! I entered the 2018 Indie Game Making Contest for my fourth time and decided with my team to make a Sentai based game which ended up drifting away from the idea but I watched a lot of sentai! This included mega-ranger and Go-Busters and yes… Seeing Arisa Komiya on TV! A month later now invested heavily in the game I got my Christmas gift from my Girlfriend. Ruby and Dia Azora Jumping Heart figures! I also got a Ruby in her swimsuit Gashapon egg. During this month I was really in deep. My wake up song was (and still is) Water Blue New World. My backgrounds and lock screens are Ruby and Dia… and I was in. Then one day I wanted to remake my teams… However I wanted a different view and sorting ideas so I joined Sukutomo on May 24, 2019. About a year and 12 days after Starting SIF I got closer to the community by a step.

I played and enjoyed the game still getting my favorite Ruby card idolized into my favorite costume and promised You the one I scouted on my birthday, (as well as Shuka Saito! Funny thing though; our birthdays are only different by one number she’s 96 I’m 86… kind of funny!) Which is ALSO the same set she would be idolized as soon as I can? Then came Ruby’s birthday… Ruby opened my heart and brought me to the community and also became close and has taken her spot in ALL my teams with at least one good UR! (Smile is School Unity and Dear God card, Pure is her birthday and worldwide poster girl & cool is I Love Everyone!) I decided I would wish her a happy birthday and do a fan award entry for her. In full surprise, K-lab chose my tweet and my video editor who was watching the episode while I was working called me and said JUMP INTO K-LAB GAME STATION NOW! This is where the love flowed… the passion I shared creating both the tweet and Sukutomo post… and the warm reception it got made me feel welcome. It let me take one step closer and so I joined the SIT:Dash!! server and now to today… where I am finally finishing this post… here on Idol Story.

So I guess you could say… I really entered the fandom recently though the potential was always there! I never really talk that much about idol anime because most are still in Japan and a lot of my friends are unaware so… I usually talk about the ones that came over that people know. In fact, in a friend’s chat, I dropped a Honoka honking a horn meme when everyone was honking and no one got it… So having some people to enjoy the show with especially with All Stars coming out helps a lot! I guess Love Live brought so many gifts I can’t say what it means to me because I feel I would leave something precious out… I don’t really have a best girl because… all of them have helped in some way shape or form. In fact, my best girl lineup is the order I got close to them… However, I appreciate all of them and the race if there is one is millimeters as they all shine brightly in my eyes. I guess you can also count this as my introduction to the site as it really said everything. I’ll be playing All Stars as soon as I can! Also, yes… I still enjoy idol anime and everything.

The fan activity and the response I gave which is a BTS of it and a bit of my brief history is on my Sukutomo page and I did link it in my profile if you want to read. I can’t really draw nor do art so I won’t be sharing artworks but writing has been strong for me and I will enjoy looking at the community’s fine artwork!
