What is your Love Live story?

So it was back then not so long ago I bought SH Figuarts of Maki Nishikino in Sydney because I like her design a lot. That night I started to watch Love Live anime. That day I descent into Idol Hell. I bring Maki everywhere I go, take photos of her. She even fell into a Penguin pen once lol. You can check Maki's adventure in my Instagram profile. I began watching Sunshine when I see a random video of You Watanabe since at first I wasn't really interested in Sunshine. After finished with the series I ended up loving all Aqours member. I knew PDP from SIF when they had their songs in limited time. Fell in love with CHASE! Basically my favourite song from PDP. Was so happy when they announced All Stars, played it on day 1. I couldn't take my eyes off the screen even though my device can't run it really well. Currently own 2 URs I know it isn't a lot but I'm happy with my team.

How it all started hm?

Well I first came into contact with Love Live around 2013 when I saw some screencaps on tumblr. From the little I knew I declared my best girls as Nico and Kotori. I even downloaded the game but soon uninstalled it because I was terrible lmao.

Fast forward to 2017, when some friends kept talking about Love Live and I decided to try again. With the little knowledge I had from 2013, I picked Nico as my started and got super confused about who Aqours were "Wait where's Nico and the others?" I asked them. Little did I know how that game would change my life...

Meeting Aqours, Ruby instantly caught my eye and stuck as my best girl until now. Her beautiful eyes caught my attention and after reading about her I just fell in love even more and now she's my beautiful daughter who I'm so proud of! Growing from just being "Dia's little sister" to a strong idol who's so talented and brave! Of course she still has her shy side but that's what makes her so special and sweet! Actually my second UR overall in the game was hers!

After then I started noticing Maki and she climbed to the top. I always thought she was really pretty but after I idolized her Natsuiro Egao de 1, 2, Jump! card I was just amazed over how gorgeous she was??? Then I started to pay more attention to her side stories and I loved how sassy and “done with everything” she was and idk something about her just made me love her

And then I moved to the anime and I already loved her so much I was so excited to see her animated and when Honoka found her playing Aishiteru Banzai it was such a magical moment!! (I might have cried)

When I turned 18, my cake was Maki themed!

Now both of them are two of my favorite characters in the world and I couldn't be happier.

I know merch doesn't make anyone a bigger fan but I just love to have my best girls with me! Specially Maki's manjuu and Ruby's neso which I can squeeze and hug whenever I'm feeling worse

In 2018 I cosplayed Nico for the very first time! Every since I got to know her in 2013 and all the memes and posts I used to see that I knew I wanted to cosplay her and now she's one of my favorite cosplays and people even recognize me for her!!

Last year around october I lost my account which made me super sad, but I got a fresh start since a friend gave me a starter with Ruby's Christmas UR! And now I managed to got so many beautiful cards of my best girls!

I hope SIFAS blesses me the same way!!

I think this is getting long enough but summing up

I've been in the fandom for around 3 years now and it has made me so happy! I treasure every single moment I've had with these girls From crying with the anime and final live, to cheering for Aqours as they climbed their way to become number 1. From being frustrated for not getting a card to screaming and crying of joy for soloing a favorite. From not even being able to pass the tutorial to now playing a brand new game with amazing new features!

And now I get to see Nijigasaki girls from the start and I can't wait what the future holds for them!

I've met so many incredible friends thanks to Love Live and I couldn't be more thankful

I deal with depression and anxiety and my best girls calm me down so much! Whenever I'm feeling stressed out or sad I just look at them or play one of the games a little and feel calmer! I'm super happy I got to join this amazing fandom! Thank you for everything Love Live! ♡
