My love live story goes likes this

I joined the fandom May of this year. I started watching the anime. Then I found out about the game which made me like rhythm games.

What got me hooked on Love live is the characters, the music, live shows and pretty much everything.

Heyo! My name is Yunime, and I’ve been a huge fan of Love Live since 2016. I am multilingual and can speak English, Spanish, and Japanese.

My ‘obsession’ with Love Live all started with Aqours First Single release... or as soon as it was uplaoded to YouTube. I was curious, since this video randomly popped up in my reccommendations. So when I finished watching it, I wanted to know more about the franchise! And thats how I found out about Muse!

I’m still a bit sad to this day about not being able to grow up with Muse, but I can still have a similar experience with Aqours and the Nijigasaki Idol Club!

To this day, I can never decide who my best girls are. Its mainly between Kanan, Hanamaru, or Kotori. But oh well.

Despite not growing up with them, my favorite group would have to be Muse, and my favorite subunits are Lily White and Azalea.

I hope to we can all become great friends!! I’m glad I’ve finally found communities where I can connect with people having the same interests as me. Sometimes I can be a bit awkward and weird but... よろしくおながいします！

Love Live! As a whole means a lot to me. I really cannot stress that enough. Through the songs and characters I learned to embrace my femininity and let myself just be who I am.

I don't have a long and heartfelt backstory relating to this franchise as I've only been into it for about 2 years now. Back in Christmas 2017, I asked my parents for some nendoroids. My dad completely ignored the perfectly good list of suggestions I gave him and picked out a few of the cheapest ones he could find (and honestly I don't blame him).

One of them was Rin Hoshizora from Love Live!! I figured it looked like a cheesy anime but I was at a dark point. I really needed some cheesy power-of-friendship crap to make me feel a bit better. So with my Rin figure by my side I proceeded to get absolutely hooked on this series and I cried a lot because wow, it's actually a lot better than I expected.

Rin's character means a lot to me. She and I have both struggled with femininity and worrying what others will think if we change our style. But thanks to her I've been able to embrace however I feel like dressing, whether it be in a skirt or sweatpants. It's thanks to her that I could start cosplaying as female characters with confidence.

Love Live!'s music has given me a lot of motivation across these past couple years, especially Kuririn Miracle and Miari Ticket.

Anyways,How I came in contact with Love Live is a little weird and unusual 😅.It all started in September 2018 where I was attending an Anime convention,One of the Guest there was Nanaka Suwa (Kanan Seiyuu),back then,I didn’t know about Love Live yet,but I went anyways,it turns out I wasn’t allowed in the panel because you where supposed to get a little card thingy (I don’t know XD) to get in the panel like 2 hours before it started,Now I didn’t know this so when The employees asked me for the card, I didn’t have it XD.But then they asked me is it because I was under (age) and because I was just SWEATING ANXIETY BULLETS I said ‘yes’ but to my surprise they actually let me in.When I got in,the MV for HAPPY PARTY TRAIN was playing.Now I was really confused because I didn’t know what was going on,after it was done,Suwawa came on stage and then answered some of the questions from the host.Then they played this thing,there was a hat and it had the seats numbers in it and they’ll pull out three pieces of paper that had the seat numbers in it and the person sitting on the seat will get a AQOURS HAPPY PARTY TRAIN POSTER THAT WILL BE SIGNED BY SUWA.Not to get your hopes up,I didn’t get one 😅. When I got back home,I searched up Love Live and started watching Love Live! And that’s how I got into love live 😅. I hoped you enjoyed my story and I’ll see you next time! Hello everyone! My name is Valeria, but I usually go by Val or even just by my username, aidoruraibu. My favorite girls are Rin and Nozomi (μ’s), Chika and Yoshiko (Aqours), and Shizuku and Emma (PDP). My favorite subunits are lily white and CYaRon! (don’t have a favorite for PDP yet :3). I’ve been a fan of Love Live since about 2015. I guess I should explain that a bit ;)

Back when I was in middle school, I was just getting into anime when I was searching around the App Store for something to play. Then I see this app called “Love Live! School Idol Festival”. It looked very interesting and cute, so I downloaded it. About an hour into playing it, I was hooked. I adored everything about the game, including the girls, the art, and the game itself. That little encounter would lead me to educate myself about the rest of the series, including the anime and the various albums and music. And LL has pretty much been a part of my life ever since. I even did some card editing for a little bit (and I hope to get back into it so I can post some here!)

When SIFAS was announced, I was very very excited! And the game so far has been amazing! I can’t wait to see what comes next :D

Outside of LL, I love the Idolmaster and Aikatsu series. I even play some other games like On Air and Ensemble Stars from time to time. Even though I’m a little shy, I love to meet new people and make new friends! What is my Love Live story?

It all started in July 2018, last year. It was about 10:00 pm at night and I wanted something, anything, to do. I decided to go on an app I use to watch anime, but nothing really stood out to me at the time. As I was scrolling through animes, an anime that was recommended to me caught my eye. Love Live! School Idol Project!! At first, I didn’t really want to watch it, after all I only thought the anime was about Nico, because I only have seen “Nico Nico Nii” once or twice on Youtube and that’s it. I decided to watch it, maybe to make fun of it, but the first thing that surprised me was, the anime was, in fact, not about Nico. I was intrigued. I soon found myself laughing and enjoying watching Love Live, and that’s when I realized, “Hey, I actually really like this show!” I watched both seasons of Love Live! School Idol Project!!, and while I was reluctant to watch Sunshine, I wanted to see more Love Live, so I decided to watch Sunshine as well. Mari stole my heart. Mari was my best girl for almost an entire year, until recently when I found even more love I had for Hanayo. I found out there was a game a month later, and I’m still playing SIF every day. When the Nijigaku song previews came out, my original best girl was Shizuku, then Ai, and now Rina! It’s actually still really hard to place my Nijigaku ranking though, since I love them all dearly. I got my first Love Live merch last Christmas and it was a beautiful Mari figure. While that’s the only merch I have right now, I have a lot of merch I want, and will hopefully get! I thought that my Love Live hype would die down, but it still hasn’t and it’s been over a year. I guess I’ll stay in the Love Live fandom for awhile~

2015, a friend came over and said to me “hey play this game the songs annoy your sister”. Choose Umi as my starter as she was the only one wearing a hat on the loading screen. Been playing for four years now, Umi still as my number one~~ She’s my favourite character of all time as well ;-;

It started 2 years ago when i downloaded SIF and i instantly became addicted, ever since then I've been in the deepest pits of idol hell and i have no regrets. I love idol material and it always makes me happy and that's wht i enjoy it so so so much!! Kotori is a smol bean that must be protected at all costs. hello everyone!!! my name is katie, and i am a huge chika oshi who also really really loves nozomi and honoka!! some of you may know me from my instagram, @ cosmiickatie where i occasionally post my art, card edits, and generally just scream about love live nonstop.

i discovered this franchise about 2 and a half years, and would constantly hear about love live from cosplayers and artists that i followed, but i saw it as just a dumb idol anime and never bothered giving it a try because i convinced myself i wouldn't like it.

that obviously didn't last for long, because i mean, look at where we are now!

it was around may or june of 2018 when i finally decided to give it a try, and i was immediately captivated by μ's. they truly inspired me, and i fell into a franchise harder than i ever have before, binging the entirety of school idol project in 2 days and immediately becoming sucked into the very thing i had once thought of as "boring" and "way too cute". i starred listening to their music. i started playing sif.

then i watched sunshine.

chika connected with me from the very beginning, with her devotion to her dreams of being a school idol and her willingness to keep going at it, no matter what may happen. when she and the rest of aqours started to struggle and she eventually broke down, that was when i realized she would always be my best girl, because i had never connected with a character so strongly before. i fell in love with aqours and their story as well.

both groups inspired me, and completely changed my life, helping me get through some of the toughest times i've ever had to face. they helped me remember to keep being optimistic no matter what and keep reaching for that shine i so desperately wished to reach, and i will be eternally grateful to them for that.

so, to put it simply, i'm katie, i love chika takami and nozomi tojo with all my heart, and love live completely changed my life. it's nice to meet you all!! ♡

Hi everyone! I am a normal otaku with not too much special about me. However, I love this franchise dearly. I first watch Love Live after seeing the sheer amount of merch at the 2017 Anime Expo. My reasoning was "If the series is this popular, there has to be a reason, right?" Luckily, I was not disappointed, and both School idol project and Sunshine turned out to be one of my favorite anime. While I usually watch a series and then move on, the characters of µ's and Aqours intrigued me. I wanted to spend more time with them, and luckily for me, there was tons of other media beside the anime to get into. Thus begin my inevitable descent into idol hell.

Or more like idol heaven. Through Love Live, I have been able to connect with so many people, both in person and on sites like this one. I just love being able to be with a group of people that all share the same passion. Even if we sometimes get into arguments over our best girls, it just shows how dedicated we are! Love Live has inspired my outlook and approach to life. Rather than just trying to slug through classes doing the minimal amount, I realized I should be trying harder in order to make the most of the experience (and to get into a better college to get a better job to buy more merch). What's the point of wasting time when you could be having fun? Love Live, and especially Chika and Honoka, have taught me never to give up even when it seems there is no way through. The way the two leaders both touched the rest of the members and continued to reach for their dream is so inspiring to me! I hope to follow in their footsteps once I figure out what I want to do with my life. If I am ever feeling down, an episode or story or radio drama or diary chapter can always lift my spirits.

In terms of giving back to the angels that have blessed me, I have been trying to learn to speak Japanese and to draw. It is pretty hard, but hopefully I will be able to post a few things once I improve! I have also proudly taken part of both Anime Expo Rainbows (2018 and 2019), and am keeping my fingers crossed to do it again next summer! Until then, I will have fun exploring the new game and the fandom with everyone else! Thank you for your time!

Hi! I'm Ana and I'm from Belgium! I first found out about Love Live in April 2019! It isn't that long ago but I loved it! I found it because of memes and YT. I also saw a lot of videos from the Anime. I downloaded the game and started playing! Love Live has made my life so much easier, I used to give up on a lot of things but the characters inspire me to do better and keep going forward.
