My Love Live Story is pretty plain. I saw Nico Nico Nii memes mixed with LLSIF memes, and downloaded the app one night in March 2015. Soon I started watching the anime, with a bias towards Nico purely because of the memes. But after the Love Wing Bell episode, Rin snatched first place. I nearly cried when I first saw Happy Maker, and waited for the movie. Once I finally saw it, I cried out of the pure happiness and celebration that came from Sunny Day Song. I played lots of LLSIF and got hyped over each and every song I unlocked. Later, I first saw Kimi no Kokoro wa Kagayaiteru Kai, and dismissed Aqours as an imitation of Muse. I thought their voices "all sounded the same", but they were all singing together so of course they'd blend together??? I brushed it off until Aqours wormed its way into LLSIF, which was when I noticed a chuuni in the mix. With that, I gave Sunshine a chance and ended up loving it too, Yohane remaining my favorite from the moment I saw her. I saw the 2nd season, and the movie as well, along with being introduced to the PDP girls. Rina's the cutest, but Kasumi interests me the most. But yeah, it's pretty typical stuff. I've made Love Live videos and fanarts all along the way, https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=4nPxS1xRJmM

(Oh, I also danced to Angelic Angel with a group of 5 for a school event! I can explain more about that in another post since this one's too long, but it was really something!)

My story's probably the most bland one you can find, but it doesn't make my love of Love Live any less strong. I've made several videos about it, drawn countless fanarts, and could sing along with nearly any song you throw at me. (it won't sound good, though!) Give me the chance, and I'll talk your ears off about that one Sunny Day Song dance cover with 100+ people, or why Thank You Friends should be in the movie, or how Rin's outfits change color more often than the rest despite her call and response being all about her color being yellow.

I'm not sure what to say as a last note besides the fact that writing this was fun, and this was a great event idea!

Hi!

Hi!

I finally made the time to write my Love Live story Also, I wrote this on my phone, so I couldn't add all the pics I wanted to add. I'll probably add once I go on my pc, so for now you have to content yourselves with my Maki cosplay

So, I started playing Love Live shortly after it got released worldwide 8 years ago (god, that was a long time ago) I started playing because one of my friends at the time was playing it and I thought it was cute and wanted to try out.

At the beginning, when choosing a girl to be my "main", I went for Uni, since we both like archery and I thought that was pretty neat!! I remember that back in the day I didn't know the difference between cards rarity and what to use to train cards and would basically use whatever I had at hand - until my friend explained to me how there were different rarities and that UR is a thing and I should cherish them And that's what I did! The first UR I got was the initial Maki one, so I was always with Maki on my main screen - thanks to that she became my bestest girl! I found her tsundere personality very endearing, since I kinda saw myself in her - I even went as far as cosplaying as her, and, right now, is the character I cosplay the most. I just feel so comfortable cosplaying her! I don't need to try very hard to stay in character, since I'm a bit of a tsundere myself, and I just love her soooo much - she's been everything to me!

Soon after, the anime started airing and I was so hyped to get to know the characters better!! I remember that, when I started playing the game I thought that Rin was very annoying and not that cute, but all that changed with her special episode I cried so much during it I got to know Rin better and I saw so much of myself on her - it was the first time I ever felt such a deep connection with an anime character Maki is still my best girl though

I was very sad when the series ended. I cried so much during the movie - specially when Bokura wa Hitotsu no Hikari started playing. Even now, whenever I hear the music my feelings start overflowing...

Unfortunately, I didn't get as invested in Aquors as I did with Muse - after they separated, I kinda started drifting slowly away from Love Live i still cosplayed though , but that's why I'm super excited now with All Stars here!! My babes are back and they are better than never and I just can't wait to read more stories of them together! Maybe with all this hype, I'll start paying more attention to Aquors and the PDP girls

So, that was basically my story. I've been in this community for a while now, and even though there were times I wasn't very invested, it somehow always pushed me back in, and I couldn't be more happier!

How did I get into LoveLive and what it means to me?

How did I get into LoveLive and what it means to me?

It's a story I most definitely love to tell and will never forget because thinking back; it's just so entertaining and special to me.

It started before I even knew what a LoveLiver was.(I was a little new to the internet and it's slang). I was also very new to anime; only have watched K-On, Squid Girl, and a bit of Ouran Highschool Host Club because of my older sister. Because of those things, I GUESS it was, like, my awakening to liking girls but I just DIDN'T know😂. At that time, I was REALLY into My Little Pony and Tumblr was VERY filled with the MLP fans so I occasionally looked at tumblr posts of MLP art and such. But then one day I stumbled across a fanart of EliUmi and my dense mind awakened and thought "WOWOWOWOWOW THAT'S SO CUTE. THEY LOOK CUTE TOGETHER. WHAWHAWHA--" and looked through the EliUmi tag having the thought that they were POPULAR and ORIGINAL OC CHARACTERS ON TUMBLR. After going on and on secretly looking at pure EliUmi fanart, I realized they are from a show called "LoveLive", so of COURSE I checked it out! Pretty sure I was kind of disappointed that they weren't the main protagonists(like Honoka protagonist level), but for some reason I continued watching it anyway. The genre, plot, everything was new to me. I thought, "This is super different but not different from K-On or MLP!!??". and through that, I ended up finishing the series.

I was very hooked to the series(still am!) so I was sad that I finished everything; but throughout my journey I find out about the seiyuus, enjoyed the niconamas subbed and posted on YouTube, and was overjoyed hearing a new group is coming along to LoveLive!(Aqours), that's when I decided to change my once an MLP Instagram account- to a LoveLive fanpage and strive from there!

LoveLive means alot to me because it widened my experiences and my enjoyment. I admire the characters very much and I probably wouldn't be the person I am today without this franchise. The show, casts, and performances, encourages me to keep moving forward despite alot of major bumps along the road. Honestly, I can't even IMAGINE who I'd be without LoveLive!! I can't thank LL enough for all it's inspired me to do and take. Thank you, friends!🌈

This is my Idol Story!

This is my Idol Story!

I was first introduced to Love Live! when reading up on Dengeki G's August 2010 issue, where there was one of the first mentions of Love Live. I, at the time, was 10 years old and going through one of THOSE anime phases, so I was very drawn to μ's design, especially Honoka's.

Then, when the anime was first released, I instantly grew attached to Honoka as a character. She was funny, relatable, confident, hard-working, and loved her school and her friends and being an idol SO much. I grew up in a poor, unhealthy household and was questioning my identity (which was frowned upon in my family) at the time of the anime release and seeing someone like her never give up no matter what made me want to keep going despite all my hardships and mental health issues! And, well, now I'm 19 years old, still pushing through life.

I'm so happy Love Live has become so successful, watching it grow from a simple concept to a booming franchise with many successful games and seiyuus who put all of their love into everything they do. And - I'm even happier that I've grown up alongside it. Thank you, Love Live, and thank you Honoka Kousaka for everything you've done for me.

Nozi

I have already explained on Sukutomo on how I got into the Love Live fandom but I want to go more deeper into that! Anyways here we go!

#What's your Love Live! story?

In 2017, I was an intense Roblox player, The servers I normally played were RHS (Roblox High School), This one Roblox neighborhood game that I forgot the name of, But, I slowly stopped playing them because I came across this ONE server, It was where you could walk around as an anime character and turn yourself into images of anime characters (Or also known as decals) and just...Be an anime character! I played this game so much! One day, I ran into this one girl who had her image as Emma Verde. I immediately recognized the art style and decided to make my character walk over to her. I told her "Hey." and asked what series that was from. She said it was from "Love Live" and it was one of the newest idols. I decided to friend her and we role played a lot, I borrowed some decals from her. We first roleplayed something like Kotori and Umi going to the beach (I think? idk) and we did Ruby and Dia going to school together (I forgot the rest of the roleplay scene) and then we did a scene where we made out decal images of the Ball Set and I made up random words to try and make a song. I then looked up Love Live and saw all 9 μ's members. A week later, I met another girl, She had a decal of Halloween Rin SR, I recognized the art style again! I talked to her and noticed her name (I forgot what it was ;-; but it was funny) I told her that character looked so beautiful! After that, I then watched the School Idol Project episodes. Unfortunately, I couldn't finish the full anime because there wasn't any episode's I could watch. I loved Nozomi and Umi, I wanted to know everything about Nozomi immediately wanted to know everything about her! I looked up her story about before she became an idol and met Eli, It was so sad. I honestly wanted to cry. And to this day Nozomi is still very best girl and I love her!

I later discovered Sukutomo, I checked EVERY girls cards, event's, songs! I looked at everything! I listened to "Bokura no live kimi to no life", "Bokura wa ima no naka de", "Korekara no someday" and "Snow Halation". Those songs are so beautiful! I then found out that each girl had some kind of center. I looked to see if Nozomi had a center, and she did! I listened to "Dancing stars on me!", and it was one of my favorite songs, (And it still is!) I listened to that song on replay because it is so amazing! On Roblox, I started using some Love Live decals that I found, I used those two girls icons too, I started uploading my own so that I could use them myself! I then gathered up some friends who knew the anime and we role played on the anime server, and the topic was: μ's had disbanded and they all went to college, But the twist was.. Only Eli, Nozomi, Hanayo, and Maki, went to the same college, I roleplayed as Hanayo, And Hanayo was sad that Rin didn't go to the same college as her, Eli noticed that she was sad and got a solution: She was going to leave the college so that her and Rin could switch colleges so Hanayo could see Rin. The next day, Rin showed up in the same hallway as Hanayo, and she ran up to Rin and hugged her. (I forgot what the ending was ;-;) I always used Love Live decals for Roblox anime roleplay. I, unfortunately, left Roblox later on. I then signed up for Sukutomo. This was my first Sukutomo account. After that, I started playing SIF, My first UR was Eli's Birthstone card, and my first SR was Snowboarding Rin. It wasn't long after that when I got my first Nozomi SR, It was her PoolV2 SR, and I still have her in my deck to this day! I was so exiceded to Idolized her. I then made a post about a Naruto character I loved because it was his birthday. I then forgot my password and I had no way of remembering it, I never wrote it down. I then signed up and made a second account. This one is the one I use. And I remembered to write down my password so I could log in easily and remember it. My first post was about whenever I am listening to music and playing SIF and when I hit the "Play Live" button and I had Halloween Hanamaru UR set and I would always hear: "Aqours no stage, tanoshi no hoshi, zura!", I added my SIF account to the bottom of my profile. It was on Halloween when I did my first edit. I did it for my Naruto OC's birthday. I did it on a app called "Sketch", It was soon that I bought my first Nendoroid and it was Training outfit Nozomi. I took 2 pictures of her, one with her holding a flower and one with her camera prop. Although, at my first comic-con they were selling Love Live merch there. I saw a Maki Nesoberi and Love Live pins and buttons. I saw a Nozomi pin and immediately bought it. Although I had no idea where to put it I just put it on my dresser. I bought dancing stars on me Maki, Eli, and Umi and put them on my cork board. Anyways, Not maybe 2 or 3 months later, I had bought my Kanan Nendoroid, I love this so much! my favorite expression was the blushing expression and the hand on hip expression.

This bassically wraps up how I got into this beautiful fandom!

I have drawn Love Live fan art and do have more Love Live merch, And I will share those later on. I love this series/fandom so much, 3 years of being a fan of the Love Live series. I love μ's, Aqours and Nijigasaki. I love music, and this has defiantly changed my taste in music and I love anime! I love celebrating my best girls birthdays and seeing birthday posts. Such as other girls birthday posts other people have done! I love seeing Love Live fan art and do get excited about it. I have never explained this but, the username I have "NoziKano" is a mash up of Nozomi and Kanan. Nozomi's part of my name is, well, "Nozi" just without the "om" part, and Kanan's part was "Kano" so I combinded my best girls names together to get BAM "Nozikano"! Anyways, I am so glad I could finally share my story on how I got into this amazing fandom. And I am so happy I found this series!

My Love Live story? You wanna hear my Love Live story? From lil’ ol’ me? I guess I’ll just have to tell you then, I guess.

It all started circa 2015. I had just gotten heavily into idols thanks to Aikatsu!, PriPara, and Pretty Rhythm. I was bored one Saturday and decided to check out this show called Love Live!. I watched the first few episodes, but my fifth-grade self got bored and forgot about it. Until I discovered that this show had a mobile rhythm game called Love Live! School Idol Festival. My first account was on my iPad Mini, and my first ever starter was Umi because she seemed introverted, and this was the time in my life where the blue magical girls were automatically far superior to the rest of their magical girl teams. This was back in the days of 2.0, so I got bored of only being able to play Bokura No Live, Yuujo No Change, and Snow Halation and found myself not playing much. I didn’t even have an SR. Fast forward about a year later and I rewatched the full anime and movie after Sunshine was announced. In the year between me deleting SIF and watching the full anime, I had made some major self discoveries and found that I found a different girl to be my favorite. Her name was Nozomi Tōjo, and she’s been my best girl forever. I began playing SIF religiously and even managed to get my first SR, cheerleader Maki, and first UR, Halloween Hanayo. I still have the account today, and I have 15 or 16 URs on the account now, though I haven’t played as much on it anymore after I got a brand new JP account last year with 2nd best Muse girl Nico as my starter. Although the other account has tons of URs, the JP is my favorite because it’s completely F2P and I’ve ranked up higher and even tiered in my first even on it. And of course I started it as a Muse account due to the fact that the game hands out initial Aqours Rs like candy and I wanted a challenge. About a year later, here I am playing SIFAS.

Kiwikal

Hi everyoneee

I'm Kyo from @memerai_zura on Instagram. I co-run this page with Calemari, who may be making an Idol Story account in the near future (no guarantees though)

I've been into Love Live for at least 2 or 3 years now, what got me into it was nico nico nii (of course) since then, I've been pretty quiet and shy in the community and have only started to make memes, communicate etc a few months ago.

I'm from New Zealand which means literally nothing happens here, it's such a quiet place and we've stopped getting delayed viewings after the 4th live (haha I've been bugging Madman about it but still no luck) since theres only about 30-40 people that turned up to the 4th live. I remember there being a bunch more before but it's been gradually shrinking.

I enjoy playing the violin (even though I've stopped learning) and doing other random things every now and then. I'm definitely not good at drawing and editing so don't expect to see me in an icon contest or whatever haha.

My best girls are Rin, You and Setsuna but since μ's has been pretty nonexistent, most of my favourites are from Aqours such as Chika, Yoshi-- Yohane (mb) and Hanamaru.

I'm looking forward to having fun with you all!

Kyo >~<

Edit: ah I see my intro is a bit long..

Helloooo!

Helloooo!

I’ve been seeing a lot of people tell their stories on how they got into Love Live, so I want to tell mine too!

It started way back, maybe like 5-6 years ago actually. So I was a huge weeb back then (still am), but I haven’t heard of Love Live before. My friend noticed that (because Love Live was a huge thing even back then) and introduced me to SIF. I mean, who could resist the cute girls in the game. So I started playing the game before watching the anime (not the best idea but the game had more songs than the anime did). And it was so captivating. The girls’ voices and their songs. Wow- I couldn’t resist.

Flash forward to when Aqours started getting big. The same friend told me about how there was going to be a new group added into the franchise, and I became interested immediately. So I did my research on them. You know, typical fangirl things. And I cannot stress how beautiful and unique they are. (μ's too, don’t get me wrong).

So deeper and deeper I fell into idol hell. Aqours got added into the game, they had live after live, they got their anime, and so on. Now to the good part: how I discovered my best girl.

So I was watching the anime, and the first time she was shown, I fell. She was standing outside the gymnasium with an umbrella. While the 2nd years were performing Daisuki Dattara Daijoubu, I believe, was when she was first shown. She was beautiful. Her glittering purple eyes and flowy dark blue ponytail. Wow-

So here I am. Many years into Love Live and still obsessing over that one girl from around 3-4 years ago. (In addition to the character being beautiful, the voice actress is stunning too.)

Well that’s my story, what’s yours?

Idol_obsessed

My Love Live story?

Well It's nothing specials compared to some of the other ones I read; it's not like it saved my life or anything. However there is one thing that it did do and for that I will always be thankful. I first watched School Idol Project when I was in probably sixth or seventh grade, so sometime around 2014 or 2015. I can't remember exactly, but I do recall the Aqours was still relatively new. This was also around the time when I was first getting into anime and I had only watched a few before Love Live (approximately 6.) It wasn't until after finishing both seasons that I had any idea of what genres I liked. Nevertheless, I now know that I adore idol animes, or just musical ones in general.

Ever since I was young I have had a strong love of music, I'm not entirely sure why but I have, and watching a show with a fun story, lovely character, and beautiful music it's almost as if my perspective had completely changed. Love Live helped me realize that true music transcends and virtually becomes one of it's own. Even though I don't know the translations for majority of the songs the emotions within them are still conveyed.

It wasn't until about 2018 that I finally got SIF and was truly pulled into idol hell, but I really it was sooner. However, I didn't have a phone for awhile and my cheap tablet couldn't support the game for whatever reason, so I stayed ignorant to much of the series as a result. Shortly after getting the game I realized that I should watch Sunshine. At first I was skeptical because there was so many similarities with SIP but thankfully it didn't end up being the same and ultimately I feel in love with Aqours.

Now onto my best girl journey. Finding my best Muse girl was a wild ride to say the least. At first it was Rin, I loved her energy, positivity, and cat, I really like cats, then it was Maki for a bit, I liked her mature voice and I related to her a bit, then it was Hanayo and it stayed that way for awhile. It wasn't really until I played SIF that I feel in love with Kotori, I'm sure why it took so long but if I had to guess I'd say it was the fact that I didn't really do much with the series for a few years and the qualities I valued in an individual changed. Although Kotori is my best girl, I have grown to love all the Muse girls; I wasn't super into the 3rd years at first, they just didn't pique my interest.

Finding my best Aqours girl was much easier; Hanamaru. Right away Maru wormed her way into my heart with her gentle voice, nerdy nature, and her caring attitude towards others, particularly Ruby. Yoshiko and Mari fought for second best girl spot, but Ruby climbed her way up to stand near Hanamaru. I still love Yoshiko and Mari but learning to appreciate Ruby made me realize how much I loved the soft, sweet type. This pushed our little Mikan from 7th to 3rd on my list.

My best Nijigasaki girl isn't entirely decided yet, but at first it was Karin, I'm a sucker for strong female vocals. But then it shifted to Ai, which is where it is currently but Emma and Shizuku have climbed up a lot recently. Shizuku's sudden rise is partly due to the fact that I've become a bit of a musical fan and because her new solo shares my name. With Emma it's more from the 4komas and just seeing her caring nature with all the girls.

TL;DR my best girl list for each group is: Muse

  1. Kotori
  2. Hanayo
  3. Rin
  4. Umi
  5. Honoka
  6. Maki
  7. Nico
  8. Nozomi
  9. Eli

Aqours

  1. Hanamaru
  2. Ruby
  3. Chika
  4. Dia
  5. Yoshiko
  6. Mari
  7. Kanan
  8. Riko
  9. You

Nijigasaki

  1. Ai
  2. Karin
  3. Emma
  4. Kanata
  5. Shizuku
  6. Setsuna
  7. Rina
  8. Kasumi
  9. Ayumu

This ended up being really long sorry. Also if anyone's interested I'd be willing to do a more in depth explanation as to why I love Kotori so much.

kitkat

Hello everyone! I hope everyone’s doing well today. (((o(゚▽゚)o)))♡ Y’all can call me Kit, and I’m pretty active at schoolido.lu too. I got introduced into Love Live! not too long ago, unlike people who’s been here for like 7 years, I’m just starting out. I discovered Love Live! at February 19, 2019, and started playing the app at February 20. I knew the app first before knowing the anime from a best friend of mine called Gaby. When I started playing, she asked me to watch the anime and so I did. At first, I wasn't too interested. My starter was Yoshiko if you were wondering. I hope this post wont get too boring xd. Thank you for reading!

My Love Live Story

Image

It all started back in late 2014/early 2015, I was browsing the Apple App Store for an interesting game. I was suddenly greeted with "Love Live: School Idol Festival", at the time I thought it was quite decent but I deleted it sometime afterwards for whatever reason.

Fast-forward a month or two, I started to watch anime a lot more at that point, I was browsing Crunchyroll when I suddenly encounter "Love Live: School Idol Project," I immediately recognize it as that one rhythm game I played that one time, so I gave it a watch and I really quite liked it.

Fast-forward once again to December of that year, I finally gain the ability to watch the movie and it was then I suddenly realize, "wait a minute, I think this is one of my favorite shows of all time." That was just the start.

Image

In early 2016 I got my first and only piece of Love Live merch so far, a set of 16 very nice posters from Tokyo Otaku Mode, it has not left my wall since. That same year was obviously the start of Love Live! Sunshine, which I loved just the same and was the year I got back into SIF.

I have really come to love this series over the past few years, and after watching it over again three times now, I can safely say that Love Live is one of the most important experiences of my life and I will definitely remember it until the day I die. I definitely look forward to the future of the series, PDP anime when?
